I just got back from the tech demo out at a frontier research center and I have to say I am impressed with the leaps in technology they have made out there. A good portion of the new tech is just rehashing of current tech in new configuration but a few things jumped out at me that some of the higher ups might want to look into.

I will start with one of the most awesome and terrifying bits of new technology: the Molecular Transporter System. Basicly it's a teleporter. Which is scary enough on its own. Enemy troops teleporting in without warning and all that. But thats not even the worst part. I took the liberty of copying the specifications and research data, (attachment #1) and I have to say, how it works is more disturbing that what it can be used for. It breaks you down at the atomic level and converts you into energy to make a "blueprint", then uses that energy to make a copy of you at the targt location. This machine literally kills you and replaces you with an exact duplicate. Well you will never put me through one of these things. If i get transported against my will the copy WILL sue, this I promise.

Anyway, I went ahead and made a small transporter room design meant to be compatible with the current IMDC sets. Due to the high amount of data transfer going on I have installed 2 dedicated laser antenna to keep the signals tight and not lose any information. Don't want there to be parts missing after all. I installed a defense turret and a personel IFF detector so make sure people transporting in are wearing their lanyards or badges.

Also the design specs came with a Transport Inhibiter [attachement #2]. Might want to start installing this in sensitive areas if this tech sees widespread use.
