I am new to CS and I get it. However, coming from Simcity 4 it amazes me that every damn thing you have to subscribe to. A dot on someone's butt missing LOL

Alas, almost a year has gone by and the asset remains missing, from wince it came no one will ever know. It is a mystery, to say the least.. a mistake or a unknown anomaly that can not be fixed or found. So, for the faint of heart that require this. then just delete the asset that it requires. or edit yourself and add/remove a car. ive done this on his assets before and other ones as well. theres a trick you can do it, re-upload it as yours, while keeping everything in tact.

This thread is amusing. I, too, came here for the junk car but remembered that I came here once before looking for it...and maybe one time before that. I don't normally read the comments or comment myself on this sort of thing because I don't really care if I'm missing a billion rooftop AC units or another car here or there...

This junk car is the ol' Yossarian "Catch-22". You see here Leno doesn't want to update a tiny detail such as this because it would take forever with all the mods he has and he'd rather be making new mods since that's the whole point anyway...

...Except that instead he has to spend all day explaining this to every City Planner that walks through the door down at City Hall.

@seriouslyunserious nah. loading, saving, uploading takes some time. It's a chore when publishing a new asset, definitely not going to do that for every prop that's removed or changed on the workshop. Especially when it has zero effect on the game, asset, or load times

There seems to be a missing prop in this asset, "junk car" is turning up as a prop used by this that's missing, and the link to the workshop page for that prop goes to the 404 not found error page, so I think that prop may have been deleted by the original uploaded or removed by Steam. Could you update this with a fix?

@legion, duke of rockford no, unfortunately not. I think they might have redone the asset and changed the name tho. You can open up the asset in the editor and then save it, and unsubscribe to this one and it goes away.

I could open up the asset, save it, re-upload it, repost pictures and the problem (it's not a problem) goes away from everybody. But I've uploaded 400 assets...if i did that every time another creator changed, moved, deleted, a prop, then that's all I would ever be doing and wouldn't have time to make another asset ever.

Understood. But I was wondering if you know of any back-up source for this asset? Even more importantly, do you know the author's Steam alias? No worries if you are unable to provide either one of them, as it sounds like from the discussion that this asset is not essential.

The asset is gone, though. Hopefully there is a back-up somewhere?
