Opis
This is basically a modified set of small and large laser antennas, with LOS requirements disabled, 2000Km range limit and extremely fast tracking speed.

In testing, disabling the LOS flag seemed to work with both planets and grids.

Component costs are double a normal laser antenna, power requirements are increased a bit too.

They appear in a tab of their own, GOAT Mods.

When it comes to balance, I'm not too concerned, this was more to learn and have some fun in creative mode.

Please don't complain about balance, you're free to make your own mods rather than criticise others for not conforming to your own personal ideology when it comes to Space Engineers.

As of Feb 2017, the subspace antenna works fine without LOS. I tested the antenna by flying my test ship 175 km away from the station and hiding behind an asteroid. I also tried placing it INSIDE the station to control the drone doing guard duty and it also did fine.

The only minor glitch I experienced was the drone suddenly got disconnected but when I checked the antenna, it was facing the drone antenna - but with the butt end of the "ball" instead of the "laser eye" part.

There's nothing I can do, Keen broke the flag that disables LOS.

It could even be that they decided it was too "cheaty" to allow modders to disable the LOS requirement.

It appears that a past update has broken the 'no LOS' functionality on a lot of antenna mods, including this one. Just informing in case you want to update it.
