no they would asleep they need they're helmet to stay awake thats when you see the combine soldiers in they'er beds they are stripped from the combine armor and helmet also the reason why the combine soldier and elites have completely white skin with a bit of yellow and pink in they're eye's and they have a huge scar on they're chest with a metal aloid at they're waste and have tubes sticking out is cause the soldiers and elites are synths but it was proven that the metro cops in half-life 2 are not synth as they show more emotion and barney is normal
