This mod was created in atempt to make broken saves playable again

I will keep it available since I see it still works for some people but generally I don't plan to update it any time soon

To make it work, enable it in Content Manager.
If you used some mods that add roads (like Traffic++ or Elevated Train Station Track) keep them enabled. At this point this mod doesn't fix issues related to missing NetInfo's.

Some save game repairs this mod does are taken from Advanced Vehicles Options by @SamsamTS. I've modified them and also apply them at earlier loading stage for better results.

IF THE SAVE GAME MANAGED TO LOAD, THE GAME FREEZE FOR SOME TIME AFTER IT'S LOADED AND IT'S OK

WHAT THIS MOD DOES:
- Fixes broken save games on level loading.

WHAT THIS MOD DOESN't DO:
- It doesn't fix mod related issues.

If this mod fixed your save game, save it and disable this mod before the next load.

If this mod didn't fix your save game, upload that save to Workshop and upload your output_log (or Player.log) somewhere. I'll investigate your save game and will make sure that this mod fixes it too.

I WILL DELETE ANY COMPLAINS THAT DON'T CONTAIN LINKS TO THESE UPDATED FILES!

Note: if you have any errors/exceptions, please, don't paste them or output_log.txt into comments. Use pastebin, dropbox or whatever.

it workeed wonders on my getting my map to work and keep on saving despite my RAM issues TY so much bloodypenguin for helping my save ram issue TY

ultimatum for everyone what happens if you cannot fix mods but this mod by 2028 or 29 corrupts the game save what then???? (as penguin said not planning to update)

I can highly recommend giving this mod a try, despite its age.

As many others, I had problems since the 1.16.1 patch.
After unsubscribing from the Loading Order Mod the cursed 0/0 0/xy mods enabled problem disappeared. However my city would not load again, despite having no broken assets nor conflicting mods. First I tried the recovery option from the LSM Revisited (I thought perhaps a net error might explain the error, despite having not found any clue in the output error file). Finally this mod let me reload my broken save :)

Does this work on AutoSave files? I saw an AutoSave package up, and saved to a local file when closing the game, but both got nuked with a system crash. I feel like there's a better chance at recovering the AutoSave because of this, but so far, it's not coming back.

It still works for me. After attempt to load a scenario and got grey background error.
This mod help me go though the error. And success load the scenario.

Holy Crap iIT WORKED!! After months of trying. I even started a new city and boom! IT WORKED.
