描述
This single stalk of corn is a plant that appears in the trees menu and can be used as a prop or planted one by one during the game for small area decoration.

These work well with Soldyne's Old Farm Fence assets. If you want to cover a larger area with less effort, try out Soldyne's Corn Rows asset which is a 1x4 corn field park.

Normal and other maps are from CrazyBump or InsaneBump (plug in for GIMP).

I have an issue where some stalks appear black. Coud it be an issue with random tree rotation or another mod?

Yup, I ran into that same issue when I made my first plant. I tried checking it out under building and half the side would not show up. That is how the Unity engine works for some reason, However trees show both sides so people don't have to create 2 sides to show the leaves like you do a building. I guess to reduce the tri count.

well, I kind of cheated. I used 4 triangles for each stalk then uploaded as a tree. then used the tree as a prop to make a corn row asset instead of trying to upload the stalk as a building. the corn field has ~50 stalks which I guess makes it 200 triangles.

the game is weird because it allows trees to display a texture on both sides of a 2d plane, but, that same 2d plane as building or prop however it will only display the texture on one side. very odd.

You did it! What was the final tri count on these bad boys! You did an awesome job with these, they look amazing. I'll post some screen shots when I can get some farms set up. Thanks for all your work!
