As I discovered with the farris wheel, props in C:S don't seem to use LOD models, but instead have a finite draw distance so they just vanish when you zoom out. This is why I haven't been uploading standalone props of my larger assets anymore. Also, the carousel is pretty geometry intensive, especially for an asset with a footprint this small (~2000 polygons due to the fact I couldn't get the horses under 200 polys and still look halfway decent.) I suppose I could put it up as a prop and make sure I include a warning in the description though.
