DK Slim Connectors (DX11)

Leírás
This mod adds a new connector for large and small ships. They are much slimmer than the normal connectors.

The large ship version is 1x1x1 but is physically slightly wider than one block and is significantly slimmer than a full block. I made it extend further than the block so that the base of it could cover armor edges. For some reason the game wouldn't let me put the connector dummy close to the model so it is able to reach quite far to connect to other connectors. The small ship version is 3x3x1 but it is slimmer than a full block. Both models are survival ready with construction stages and component requirements.

I know there are a couple of similar mods already on the workshop but they didn't quite do what I was looking for so I decided to make my own mod.

EDIT: Added DX11 support

Do not use this mod, it will crash your game when you try to place the connector. (Sept 2025)

Nice in theory, but game just crashes upon placing, and given other comments, I don't think it's on my end.:steamthumbsdown:

Replace <Definition> with :

<Definition xsi:type="MyObjectBuilder_ShipConnectorDefinition">

You need to do this again further down for the small grid variant.

If only I knew the folder number, I've got 319 folders in my workshop\current\content folder. I would apply Digi's recommendation but searching through these folders ...nah :))
