Description
A new terrain based on a small part of the Swedish eastcoast of Småland. Dense forrests, quarries, industrial areas, towns and alot of both small and big islands to explore. Build from real life satmap but with modified heightmap to make for more interesting gameplay.

Terrain size 12288m x 12288m
Cell size 6

Two airfields
Multiple naval bases
Four towns
Some small industrial areas
One LARGE industrial area
Mines
Caves
Military bases
Dense swedish forests
Deforestations
Lot of farms/farmland
And so on and so on...

Pretty much the entire terrain has been modifed using deformer to make the heightmap more interesting for infantry gameplay.


Total just below 1,5 million objects placed in editor, Terrain Builder and by using SFLORA.

@Otty im not able to replicate the bug. If you have worse weather set up in overcast forecast the standard setting is 30 minutes so you will quite fast see worse weather coming up... Night missions without moonlight usually leads to quite dark settings so try moving the time up a bit until pre-dawn and it will probably look better.

hello, it's really an awesome map, but one thing that bug me is that there is some weird lightning bug in the early morning around 0430 hour, in april 8th with some fog and light rain weather, when the game passed like 2 or 3 minutes, it's suddenly got dark to the point almost night. do you think it's a bug or not?
other than that, it's a great map!

@simkas yeah i know the issue there... I made a choice there to make it steep just to block of the usage of the outside of the map and to block the unbuilt terrain in that dirrection. Even in the south direction its a bit wobbly since its in reality is a landmass in that direction but it looks nicer with ocean instead of a empty landmass. I guess there is a risk that people fall of the ledge but logically i was hoping they would stay away from that area since its "offmap". At least in our clan we usually plan movements to stay away from the limits of the map to not break immersion. I will take it to consideration though!

This map is pretty cool, but are there any plans for cleaning up the map edges? The super steep cliff on the eastern edge is pretty weird, especially considering that it's quite close to the largest village on the map, I can totally imagine people accidentally walking over it and falling off just while trying to attack that village.
