The Kestrel class was a 25th century Romulan Republic runabout type, a tier 1-rated small-craft starship in Romulan Republic Navy service in the 2400s and 2410s, it was comparable to the Starfleet Danube-class runabout.

The Kestrel resembled the smaller, more compact Tiercel-class shuttlecraft, with the wing-like nacelle pylons holding down-swept warp nacelles, a main section fronted by a helmet-like avionics bay. In the 25th century, the avionics interior for all Republic shuttles was standardized. The Kestrel required at least one officer to pilot and could accommodate passengers.

This ship was created for Reforged Eden 2 and designed for use along with the Romulan Warbird.
