1280 AD: Bishopric of Ösel–Wiek

This is one of the factions of my 1280 AD Livonian Campaign.

The Bishopric was established in 1228, though only recently its seat has been moved to the town of Hapsal. Since the Pagan islanders of Ösel, Dagö, Mohn and Wormsö were defeated two decades ago, the Bishop technically rules over these islands, though a recent islander uprising has overthrown the episcopal authorities, and now threatens to sail to the mainland, looming over the Bishop’s seat at Hapsal itself. Not to mention the ambitious Danish lords of Estonia, who are eager to expand their domains further south. The survival of the Bishopric hangs in the balance.
