Then I can work on new maps and fix any reported bugs, like the Ryukyu Emperor.

In theory, it should be. As long as this mod is below the patch in the load order.
Steam keeps giving me an old version of the Unofficial Patch meant for game version 1.12.*, and enabling it will crash my game at launch. So, I can't properly test compatibility.
You'll have to test it yourself if you can manage to get the up-to-date mod files.
That should do it. Discovered innovations should mirror the vanilla game now.
The innovations were being discovered via script, I just added them directly to the history files.
Sinophilic cultures only consist of Vietnamese and Korean by default. They also only have Champa Rice and Lacquered Armor, respectively, discovered even for 1178 by default.
I can't promise the same 3+ years of support Starmender has given their mods. My time and interests will probably drift towards other things and I'll drop the SEA and NEA maps to only maintain the Far East and Europe maps, like I did with my old Iberia map.
My first maps were put up over a year ago. They're unlisted now because this is the second time a major update has broken them. And it's personally more fun to start from scratch than to debug, especially since they've changed parts of their coding language again. Also, I lost the original mod files...
Chances are that support will end with the next mod-destroying major update and I won't be arsed to fix it.
