The Pump

It will take quite a while to drain the murky water in this reservoir!

City engineers have decided to drain the reservoir and find out what kind of resources might be sunk beneath its murky waters. A massive pump has been installed to do the draining, which will take over 6 minutes of game time to completely drain the water.

Your job is to start producing what you can to fulfill the city demands. Then when sections of the reservoir are cleared out and it is safe to lay tracks, use any exposed resources to complete the rest of the missions.

Note: Barricades in front of the factories in the reservoir will block your path until the water clears. Use them as a guide for when it is safe to build tracks.

Word of warning: The barricades are deleted on timers – one group at 3:18 and one group at 6:22 – but the water terraforming timer works differently. The water terraforming timer seems to be affected by pausing the game, so the more times you pause, the longer it takes for the water to clear. If you pause the game a lot, like I do, then you will have to wait a few seconds even though the barricades have gone away before you can build tracks!

Extra note: It is not necessary for you to use the Blue and Yellow Potions to complete the level; they are simply the surplus residue extracted from the water-logged materials. But I have provided a little electrical station that uses them if you decide you want to try that.
