SA-2 Guideline

The SA-2 Guideline (or the C-75 in Russian) is the legendary Soviet made Surface to Air Missile which has proved itself to be extremely capable by downing B-57, B-52, F-105, U-2, F-4, F-14, F-15 and even MiG-19 and Su-27. The V-750 missile is a long range missile capable of downing planes that is flying really high. Due to it's capabilities, it is exported to a lot of countries such as Egypt, Vietnam, Iran, Pakistan, China, India, East Germany, Romania, Poland, Ukraine, and Yugoslavia. Indonesia also acquired a few of this system and it's operated by AURI. Thanks to it, Indonesia is able to maintain deterrence against Netherlands and US.

This missile is a high speed long range missile. Therefore, it is not really advised to shoot it at high speed low altitude targets. The missile is basically a telephone pole so it can't turn much. It is best to use it against high altitude and cold aspect shot.

How to use:

UI Description:
Left green screen is elevation (blip right of line means target is up, vice versa)
Right green screen is azimuth (blip right of line means target is right, vice versa)
Bottom right is P-18 search radar
3 gauges are height, distance, velocity; from up to down

Use the P-18 Radar (bottom right) to acquire targets. Align the azimuth (white line) to the target blip (yellow dot).
If you're lazy, just move up/down until a target is at the camera then lock with MMB (adjustable with mutator), and fire. The main goal is for the target to be in the camera then lock it.

You can use the elevation/azimuth screen to help you aim. Refer to the UI description. After the target is in the camera, continue to lock then shoot.
Parol IFF is not used by Indonesia so there is no IFF in game.
