Sachsenbad Dresden

The Sachsenbad, a now-derelict public bath in the Pieschen district of Dresden, finished in 1929.

Built by Paul Wolf, an adherent of the New Objectivity school of classical modernist architecture, the Sachsenbad was part of an ensemble of buildings designed as the communal heart of Pieschen. However, only the Sachsenbad and the adjacent library and housing block were actually built, which are all contained in this mod. I've also included a monolith version of the Sachsenbad without the annex that connects to the library. This annex was supposed to be the entrance to an outdoor pool that was never built.

New Objectivity was defined by modest, neat and symmetrical facades. The facade art, neon light and text were added later, sometime between 1936 and 1942 from what I can tell. To get the original look, you can download the attached skinpack. Because of how finicky placing buildings is in WRSR, I decided to make the library invisible rather than forcing you to try and place two buildings on top of each other lol.

The Sachsenbad was the biggest, most luxurious public bath in Dresden for the best part of 60 years. It underwent two minor renovations in the GDR, but like many public buildings from the 20th century, it has been left to rot since reunification.
