This is an OPTIONAL experimental test that includes the Steam Audio Pathing data. If you have this addon enabled alongside the other Courtesy Call addons, an option in the in-game settings menu will appear to enable/disable pathing.

Temper your expectations..
This won't make everything sound magically better. In fact, only a few things actually use pathing. After playing around with it myself, I discovered that it can actually make a lot sound worse. The most noticeable places you can hear it work are the fizzler loop sound and Wheatley's dialogue after you fall in sp_a1_intro3.

Known issues:
The further you move from the sound source, and the more complex that the pathing gets, the more it impacts your GPU frametime (for some reason).
Sometimes, pathing can make a sound completely silent. This is another reason I don't use it for everything.
Keep in mind that I can't really solve these issues since the problem lies with how Valve implemented Steam Audio Pathing in HLA. I believe these issues, and some others I may not know about, are why pathing is disabled by default.

Having said that, here's a tip:
If you don't care about Steam Audio Pathing and want to save some loading time, you can add this to your autoexec.cfg or launch options:
snd_steamaudio_load_pathing_data 0
