Disclaimer: This navmesh was not made from scratch; it is a work made on top of the original.


Storage Facility's newly developed navmesh


TLDR -> This navmesh makes it so Bon the Rabbit can crawl into the vents and catch you; that is it.



This addon was created due to "Bon the Rabbit" getting stuck on odd spots around the map, like the railings around the top floor of the theater area while the player was near the stage or in the middle of that same area.

Another reason is that it was also a little strange that "Bon" was never willing to go into the vents, instead opting for looping around and going for the vent entrance that was closest to the player without ever being able to catch you unless you got into his jumpscare range.

So with these additions to the navmesh, "Bon the Rabbit" is now able to crawl in and go after you, so it's able to keep pressuring you.



FAQ | Possible Issues You Might Come Across

"Bon the Rabbit keeps losing me in the vents and starts to roam."
  • Try this first: Spawn Menu -> Utilities -> Bon the Rabbit
    Here you should tweak the "Detection Settings"; try increasing them.

  • If that didn't work, try the following: Spawn Menu -> DrGBase -> Nextbot Settings -> AI Settings

    Here, try increasing the detection range.

  • IF NOTHING ELSE WORKS

    Use the previously mentioned "AI Settings" section and toggle "omniscience" on. This will make "Bon the Rabbit" chase you until he catches you without ever losing you.

I got it to work, you need to enable both mods at the exact same time by selecting enabled in addon menu

dosent seem to be working because after reinabling the ais they just refuse to shoot me

Oh, that is good to hear.
I think that was in the solutions, but I will check because it might involve different steps.

@Coruja I tried re-installing the map and the your navmesh addon and worked, it seems that the vents didnt had the navmesh, so when i uninstalled the map it worked. I uninstalled both at same time but I guess the problem was with the map addon : )

I played yesterday with this Addon and Bon was able to Crawl in the vents, but later yesterday he stopped, and i tried today and still not crawling into the vents. I followed all the steps about this and none of them worked, the only thing i could find in the console about is this:

[BON DEBUG] CAN'T CRAWL - Side obstructions detected
[BON DEBUG] CAN'T CRAWL - Side obstructions ahead

I didn't put anything in front of vent or something, just spawned him and entered the vent, I like a lot the addon, I hope there is a way to fix.
