My thought is to remove anything that isn't really important to the "feel" of the heroes and to scale their stats back to glade captain level. For example, the army buffs add a ton of power without much "flavor" specific to the heroes, e.g. ambush chance, campaign movement, and +10 MD for dancer units. I'd also consider their "nerfing" their active abilities. That snare is wildly OP :)
Maybe start by just reducing the MA/MD to 55/45 and cutting the army buff numbers and ability uses in half?
