Omschrijving
A fork of SurvivalMirror by Math:

Survival Mirror brings the symmetry tool from Creative into Survival gameplay.

While holding a block, press M to cycle through axis previews, then Right Click to confirm the axis. Blocks placed on that grid will then be mirrored along that axis. N to Enable/Disable mirroring.

Features:
- full X, Y, and Z symmetry
- correct block rotations
- no resource duplication (will draw from inventory)

Fork features/fixes compared to original:
- You don't need to toggle N N after confirming (Right Click), as it shows the ghost block immediately, and placing a block (Left Click) will hide the opaque preview axis
- Clearer messages that clarify what button to press next (eg. M now says to Right Click to confirm, since the original mod description doesn't mention that critical step!)
- Axis planes are more translucent (closer to Creative's) so they're less obtrusive
- Fixed creating glitchy clientside-only blocks if the mirroring fails due to missing inventory items
- Fixed cycling starting with 'None' axis
- Fixed even-offset mode positioning
- MultiBlocks place correctly in more situations, still not perfect

Known Issues:
- MultiBlocks are not currently supported (blocks that are bigger then 1x1x1 may place incorrectly!)
- One axis at a time

Just doesnt work half the time unfortunately, meaning it takes more time checking if its worked than just placing it twice

This has a habit of not placing my blocks. I get lots of holes in my grids when I try to use this.

@Nebual - This is awesome even with the hic-ups. I'm not a fan of creative and have always built my brick ships in survival. I think I will always use this mod going forward. I was wondering, any way to get it to use the mirrored block on the other side?

@Scooby: I'm still trying to track down why that happens, but I've always found the ghost blocks disappear after saving and reloading.

Warning as this mod may break you build. I was placing blocks in mirror mode too fast. One side was not placing, normally means next level will not place or be floating. Well with this mod you get a ghost block that can not be removed in any way. Trying to remove the mod now in hopes that the 3hrs of work already into the build is not lost. Can not build off the block and says grid will split when attempt to grind it with the grinder doing nothing.

so far so good, it certainly works on my server!
but i found a issue. since we have the build info mod installed, which allows us to place blocks further away from us by holding ctrl + scrol (up/down), this mod stops working once we start placing blocks too far away from the character. is there a limit that disables mirror placing once the block gets placed too far away from the engineer?

Im assuming theres no way to fix the fact that blocks that have a "mirror" variant cant place themselves on the other side

@Ernos: I haven't ran into any problems placing single blocks (multiblocks continue to be a hassle), even at speed, but I mostly play on my local dedicated server (so no network ping), I wonder if your mirror failures might be ping related? The mirroring logic (including initial checks if the place is occupied / has neighbours) is triggered clientside before telling the server to spawn it, so if thats not how the vanilla game places blocks, if you have high ping, maybe your client doesn't think your block is placed yet? Just guessing.

If you can narrow down under what circumstances it happens, I might be able to fix.
