Maggot Tiny Challenge

After subscribing to the Tiny Maggot Challenge and entering the game, you will see a menu bar below the item slots in the upper-right corner. Clicking on it allows you to select a difficulty level. From top to bottom, the options are Easy Mode, Intermediate Mode, and Hard Mode. Once selected, the lower-left corner will display the distance between you and the current maggot, while the lower-right corner will show the progress of eliminating the current maggot. At the same time, a teleportation staff will spawn around you, and you will be given a tiny maggot location radar, which helps you observe the direction and approximate distance from which the maggot is approaching. The goal is to eliminate all the maggots and then head to the Holy Mountain to end the game, which marks the successful completion of the challenge.

What does this do? it looks fun but I cant tell what it changes
