The Kingdom of Hungary was one of the most important members of the Axis powers during World War II. It was widely involved in almost all battles in the Balkans and on the Eastern Front against the Soviet Union, and fought alongside its ally Germany until the very end. As one of the few Axis countries capable of independently manufacturing armored vehicles, it left an indelible mark in the annals of war history.
