描述
A set of guns and vehicles used by the United Nations Protection Force for the "We Were Brothers" modpack, centered around the Yugoslav Wars.


Current version: Beta 0.1

To-Do before Release 1.0:
- fix anything based on comments
- add the M113 ACAV (with a fully-enclosed gunshield)
- add the AMX-30 AuF1 (will likely have to model the turret if not all of it myself)
- possibly add the ERC 90

What’s included:
Guns:
- C9 light machine gun (FN Minimi copy) + bipod
- Colt Canada C7 assault rifle (M16 copy) + scope
- Colt M16A2 assault rifle + flashlight attachment
- GIAT FR F2 sniper rifle + bipod and scope
- MAS FAMAS F1 assault rifle + bipod

Vehicles:
- M113A2 (UN) - amphibious APC armed with a Browning M2
- VAB VCL T.20 (UN) - amphibious APC armed with a 20mm cannon and smoke grenade launchers
- VBL (UN) - amphibious car armed with a 7.62mm machine gun


Possible Questions:

Q: "Can I request things?"
A: No.

Q: "What's with the crappy flashlight attachment on the M16A2?"
A: It came with the model, and I assume it was intended for the ARBiH. I was debating about whether to include the M16 in the future Croatian or Bosnian weapon packs, but I figured that I may as well add it to this one to stand in for the regular C7 for the Canadians and because it uses the same M16 magazine.

@ShogunofJapan Good luck with it. I can post the scripts to a Drive link if you want, there's two of them (one that needs to go in the phase script section and one that goes in the AI squads of the attackers)

The only map I am making is one covering the Orasje region, more of just a general urban environment, small town to fight in hopefully using the conquest mode stuff if I figure out how to use that code.

@some äustrian guy There's a few:

- the Medak Pocket [en.m.wikipedia.org] is why I made these and what I intend to make a mission for in the future. But as I said to another guy once, you'll likely do better than me so you're extremely encouraged to make a mission yourself as well.

- the JNA column ambush [en.m.wikipedia.org] is another one I plan to cover. Though between the JNA and the ARBiH, French UN vehicles were present to escort the column. This battle was also covered in the "Death of Yugoslavia" documentary (at 40:50).

- the Battle of Vrbanja Bridge [en.m.wikipedia.org] is not one I plan to cover but is very interesting. Reportedly, the French also mounted a bayonet charge with their FAMASs to overrun VRS positions. Tell me if you plan on doing this one because I will speed up my plans to add the ERC 90 and the bayonet for the FAMAS if so.


Other battles I'm aware of with the UN were too small to note. I apologize for sending wikipedia links but I'm afraid that Steam will flag anything else as a virus lol. Also, thank you.

In what battles were the UN most present in the yugoslav war? I want to make a mission with them but i dont know any good battle they participated in (btw your mods are some of the best in the entire workshop)
