This is a total conversion mod for the original L4D1 campaigns.
It's meant to be paired with the GRIT collection.

GRIT is made only for No Mercy, Death Toll, Dead Air, and Blood Harvest, nothing else.

The terms "redesign" and "downgrade" (by the definition of TRS) seem very interchanged.
Anyway, this mod aims to replicate bits and pieces of L4D's 07 beta build, it's a bit vague.
You aren't forced to play Grit, but any issues you may experience outside of it will be nullified.

Lite version with just the skylines.

    Lumi for assisting me and speeding the process up, coloring all of my 2D sprites.
    Thanks to ChimiChamo for vscripting the stuff I made in hammer into vanilla maps.
    Devious Critter for some screenshots, a brick normal map & help with the poster,
    A couple of screenshots of Death Toll, and No Mercy were taken by Meiludex.
    All skyline textures are of Miami, Los Angeles, and Toronto custom made by me.
    No Mercy and Death Toll skyboxes were heavily modified and recolored by Lumi.
    Color corrections made by me, so are a lot of the texture modifications and normals.
    Final two beta inspired screenshots with poses are made by AngelGabbyEnjoyer.
    Concretewall001 is made by me using half life 2 assets, edited a bit by Craneo.
    Piss yellow tile color samples taken from Murfeys Fairfield Terror subway tile.

Regarding the previous upload & DMCA

I used a subway floor texture that belongs to Oxxy (convinced it was from CS:GO, due to Ceno) and some piss covered concrete wall. We beefed with each other for no reason and he filed a DMCA strike in the heat of the moment. I removed the few custom textures I might've used unknowingly at the time. TRA is meant to use only stuff by Valve, & my own original assets.

This mod will not be finished, no interest.

Could you make a version with only the color corrections or a version the skyboxes and color corrections by separated? To be able to fully customize our games with your addons? :Neko:

Aside from the half assed CC, Dead Air hasn't been worked on at all. It was originally planned to gradually transition into nighttime as you progress towards the finale, each map would've used a unique color correction and skybox.

My only complaint about this beautiful mod is that Dead Air should be darker and bluer like Death Toll according to the beta
