Frequently Asked Questions
  • Save compatible? | Do not add this mid-game!
  • How do I access that world selector menu? | You need a world that isn't the main one available first. You can make your own, or download someone elses. To make your own, customize a thing and click the "world" button or alternatively go to the "world" tab after clicking on a map tile.
  • 1.5? | Nah. World gen changed a lot for 1.6, lots would have to be done.
  • How do I delete a world? | Mod options.
  • I have to place tiles one by one? | Drag your mouse.
  • How do I open the map editor? | Open your world map, click on a tile, click the world button, click map editor

Can you please add an option when loading a save world to just take the generated world and use it without loading the factions or features?

I was trying to start a new game with the same planet with a fresh mod list but I got a huge list of factions that were not in my mod list. The worst part is most of them were hidden factions and were named in a way where I couldn't even tell what mod they are from and dont even want them in my game anymore.

Does this have the ability to place faction bases? Ive been playing with this a while and while being able to move them is awesome I cant find an option to spawn one

Would anyone please tell me how I can create my own custom worlds? I cannot figure it out. When I start a new game and want to use one of my own custom worlds, it loads for a moment then returns me to the world selection screen with no error warning or anything to tell me what i'm doing wrong.

Thanks for all the work you do, Ferny, I sincerely think Worldbuilder, as well as many of your other mods, are some of the best in the community. I've easily put in countless hours just writing flavor text and lore. If you're taking suggestions, I have one of my own: Would it be possible to make the narrative of an object accessible from a pawn's inventory? Perhaps by making it a hyperlink in their respective information tabs, or an option in the drop down menu when right clicked? Pick Up and Haul does something slightly similar with its "Unload" feature.
