This mod fully implements bulk storage solutions for all of your uorganized needs. This includes an outdoor suitable freezer that can store perishable meals and ingredients, updating textures for nearly all storage objects, and some paintable structures to make these objects fit into your colony a bit more.

I had a rights conflict issue regarding the corpse/chunk storage portion of the mod, and moved the corpse portion of the mod to a separate mod where deadlife is required to be subscribed. LINK: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3520137249

Why should I consider using the Adaptive Storage Framework over LWM's Deep Storage?
LWM's Deep Storage has a passive overhead and is generally less optimized than ASF. LWM was a great mod when it was released because it allowed you to store items in objects using its own integrated system prior to support. However, now this is out of date because this feature is supported natively. ASF's thingdefs use the vanilla maxItemsInCell field while LWM's runs alongside vanilla creating passive overhead along side retaining various limitations regarding stack numbers causing a drain on your TPS and FPS. Beyond just using the vanilla system ASF also introduces some seriously cool features like graphics that update as you store items and allows you to hide the rendering of items that are stored away.

How do I edit the storage capacity of the objects?
Find the ThingDef.xml for the object you want to edit and change the # value in:
<maxItemsIncell>#</maxItemsInCell>


Can I add this mid-play through? Yes!
Here are some different scenarios:
- I want to replace Primitive Storage and or LWM's Deep Storage with the Adaptive series.
1. Deconstruct all instances of PS and LWMs.
2. Save the game and quit.
3. Add my mod.

@rUGGEDGOLEM In medieval playthrough the torchs can really hit your fps
Try the mod lagless lamps because every torch is tanking the fps because of the wood stock ticks

This wouldn't hurt nor improve your FPS since its just a storage mod. The framework is well optimized so I would suggest looking at some of the ASF based storage mods. If you need help whittling down your mod list go to Dub's Bad Hygine, they have a mod page there that links their discord, they help with that stuff.

Importantly, when you get in that discord look at the guides they post. You can check if you have any of the mods on the "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" and remove them/replace them. After you try your best and check all the potential offenders in their chat with CTRL+F then you can ask the people on there if they can check it for you and see if theres further improvements.

That'll help your FPS and TPS significantly.

Is there any point in having this enabled in a medieval only playthrough? I'm trying to widdle down my current modlist for a few playthroughs. (Since for some reason playing a medieval playthrough with 400+ mods makes it so I only have sub 30 fps :steamsad:)

Its compatible, if you read I say that you should consider the switch as ASF alternatives for LWM fully cover its storage objects. Essentially just gaining better fps and tps (importantly).

I don't understand, is it compatible with other mods storages ? Or do I have to 'replace" like you said in description? I would like to have more options and variety, I don't want to replace others mods

I already made this in another mod of mine called primitive storage. Although, other ASF mods have implemented it with their own flavors too. Mine can be a hit or miss because I like the idea of the spot being 100% empty if there is no wood being stored and some dislike that. Also it comes bundled with primitive storage items some may not like for their particular playthrough.
