Dead Sun Expanse ( DSE )

Standalone desert themed map project 60x60 size

Introducing a new environments, mountains, plants, foliage, rocks and tiles.

Locations vary from cities, survivor camps, shanty towns, military outposts, swamps, oasis, caves and bunkers

Difficulty level is high. This was made in mind of veteran players. There are no trees, however there are locations for logs. Water can be collected from cacti plants. Cars spawns are mainly inside cities. Outside there are many traffic jams for vehicles. Dirt is found in green houses and around water. The goal is to have trade economy based on more then just propane and rare items

Foraging tables are modded to include scorpions, lizards, cacti pulp. Also few cooking recipes such as Maggot ball meals. While the entire map zone is set to urban, it doesnt reflect vanilla foraging

You need to sub to the required tiles mods and manually enable them in game

~ Multiplayer set up ~

See last image. Add Road east and remove ALL KY related map/regions. Load mod tiles first.
Set up all the required tile mods in BOTH steamworkshop and mod menu list

Next, edit the Map and Spawn Regions by removing KY and adding Road East. Note MountCrow City is another map mod to DSE world which you may not have so disregard it

~Thank you to the community and huge support ! It has been a very fun project and playing with friends in new ways was the reward. I have since uploaded this map for everyone else to try. I offer all my tools for custom mapping if anyone desires to make a standalone map to fit into this world.

@Panjico you can try, cryogenic winter horrific summer. Set max temp to 45 and min 30. Latitude 30. Also worth checking out 100 years later sandstorm

More lore is being introduced. The premise is that this isn’t day one but a failed containment. There’s more map development taking place to hint stuff like biohazard teams and other surprises.
