There shouldn't be any reason for that, they're set to "need" the same tank equipment that OWB designates as the "Tank equipment" archetype

Hey Zam, there appears to be a bug where the support tanks are not actually using any tank equipment which makes the support companies give mostly negative stats. Not sure if it's a bug on the main SR&M 5.0 mod or this compatibility patch but just wanted to put it out there.
