The low-res textures fit L4D because it's an old source game with a geometry that uses cubes. It's exactly why every single 4K HD overhaul fails miserably, it also bloats the game's limited 4GB ram, which causes crashing. You will never spot me using HQ textures, and there's many good reasons for the style I use. There's nothing i like more than a critic with a private profile and no portfolio to back his opinions on anything, it comes across as pretentious. This is the second critique you make in the span of 3 minutes, slow down Joe.

6.5/10. It's a bit of a mixed bag. In certain areas, it looks very true to the original, early, rough Terror-Strike aesthetic, and makes L4D's world feel much more run-down and unpleasant to be in. On some areas though, ugly low res textures are blown up on massive scale, usually on geometry they don't at all belong on and it kinda looks like doody.

@ink do not complain about a mod not working until you have tested it without other mods first

try unsubscribing from a hundred custom maps or something, why don't you blame a different mod
