Alco-GE T-1a "T-Motor" NYC

描述
The T-1a/T-1b/T-2a/T-2b/T-3a, also known as the T-Motor, was an electric locomotive built by American Locomotive Company (Alco) and General Electric (GE) from 1913 to 1926 that sported a B-B+B-B (8-axle) AAR classification, ran on third rail power and saw 36 examples built in five different models. The T-Motors were used by the New York Central Railroad (NYC) in tasks ranging from hauling commuter trains to hauling the company's flagship, the 20th Century Limited. In the mid-50s, the Cleveland Union Terminal permanently shut down its electric operations, which both freed up the NYC's 22 P-Motors for third-rail conversion and also dealt a big blow on the T-Motors, which were reduced to secondary duties. Despite that, 6 T-Motors would still survive into the Penn Central (PC) era, where they were permanently replaced by New Haven FL9s rostered by Penn Central. Of the 36 examples built, only one example of the T-Motor, unit #278, survives today, sitting nowadays at the Danbury Railway Museum awaiting cosmetic restoration, with the other 35 T-Motors scrapped. For Rolling Line players, you probably know this locomotive model from a poster in the game that shows a render of NYC trains. This model aims to recreate, as accurately as possible, the T-Motor, and features (almost) all of the Train Mod system features able to be featured now that it's been converted from quickMod to Train Mod: accurate whistle audio (not 3-part horn, tho :C) bell audio, and lights. I've also decided to keep its original UV so, if you have the original quickMod one and have made any liveries for it, they're still compatible (numberboards will need to be made for the new template, though).

LIGHT KEYBINDS

Front headlight: L
Rear headlight: Shift + L
Numberboards: L + 1
Classlights: L + 2

CREDITS
