So uhh what is this???

The main purpose of this addon is to..

MAKE DARN PORTAL 2 MAPS WORK AGAIN GRAAHH GRAAAAHH MAKING IT PLAYABLE GRAAAAAAHHH
basically its support for Portal 2 maps to make them work properly on Garry's Mod.




Features (literally a copy paste of the original :>)

  • Implemented Vscript be-like system (isolated Lua environments per entity)
  • WIP Rewritten Squirrel scripts on Lua
  • WIP Recreated/ported entities (buttons, doors, NPCs and more)
  • No edited maps, just mount Portal 2, install addon and play
  • Recompiled models to fix compatibility with Garry's Mod
  • NO GELS, GRAAH :( (portal 2 engine is different :( ( im implementing gwater2 to work as a replacement)

Other bug I detected is that when you shoot to the sky it attempts to create a portal multiple times but it cant and some surfaces allows you to create portals when their size shouldn't let them

Oh yes, also, it would be better if the 2-portals portal gun didn't need the "upgrade_portalgun" command

Works okay, it doesnt let me enter with entities like cubes and sometimes the collisions with roofs are broken, stills better and less laggy than other mods

shoot blue and orange, but open portal look like black. dosen't work, can't move with portal, just black portal like wall.
