This is a version of BlackEmperor's Africa Plus updated to 1.18, I will not be adding or expanding upon this mod, only maintaining it if I have the time.

In order to keep the mod compatiable, this version integerates several things from RICE with Cyberxkhan's permission, I highly recommend using it as it greatly enhances the African experience and the creator has worked with BlackEmperor in the past.

Thank you for the update! The Africa Hegemony game rule is unfortunately misspelled and says "teir" instead of tier

Sorry for the late update, I’ve been busy with real life and haven’t had the time to update BAP till recently

I’ve added the ability to turn the Unite Africa empire into a hegemony, you can use the game rules to toggle between having the decision grant a hegemony or an empire, this will likely be one of the few times where I add upon this mod since it was in high demand

@cirjuly85 Song Dynasty didn's build through conquest, it's though seiziing the throne, military repression rule (杯酒釋兵權) and united culture.

A Mali hegemony with Celestial mechanics would make sense because the Mansa ruled alongside a governing assembly called the gbara.

The gbara was thirty-two people drawn from the twenty-eight major clans that governed the military, political matters, religious law, and industry.

Careers could be split between the ton-tigui (war leaders) and the belen-tigui (“masters of ceremony”). The three new departments could be a royal griot, royal advisor, and Mari for grand marshal.

Historically, the Mali Empire was actually really similar to the Song hegemony. They were both built through conquest, then seeded new kingdoms and exacted far ranging tribute.
