1230 AD: Crown of Aragon

This is one of the factions of my 1230 AD Iberian Campaign.

The Crown of Aragon was established in 1164 AD, when the Kingdom of Aragon and the County of Barcelona were unified under the Aragonese monarchs.

Jaime I of Aragon rose to the throne in 1213 AD, at the early age of 5. He spent his early youth stabilizing his domain, and in 1229 he launched the first of his campaigns against the Andalusian Moors. By the end of his reign, he had established Catalan and Aragonese Kingdoms in Valencia and Majorca.
