DISCLAIMER: THIS MOD IS A WORK IN PROGRESS

DESCRIPTION
Lillie's Enhanced Militaria adds new items and mechanics, enhances textures, and re-balances vanilla military clothing and equipment. My focus is to create new items and rework existing ones to flesh out Project Zomboid's military aspects. Currently, most military adjacent clothing & equipment have been re-textured to make them more accurate to their real world counterparts. Certain items such as the military canteen have been re-balanced to have a more realistic capacity, and clothes have had their stats changed to accommodate new items. For now, to prevent any further scope creep, the focus of the mod will be on the accouterments of the United States Military.

For those that subscribed for the re-textures there is now a module that will be exactly that. No new items, just re-textures of the preexisting ones. This will also still have support for Spongie's Open Jackets, though I am working on making it unnecessary in the full mod.

I'll update this description to include workshop items that are and aren't compatible with this as they come to my attention and will do my best to mitigate any conflicts.

URBAN CAMO
The MOUT or T-Block Camo that replaces the urban camouflage is an erroneous addition, as it is uncharacteristic of the game's setting. Just a player, not a modder, sharing what I spotted.

I found 8 standalone evolvedrecipe { } blocks in .../common/media/scripts/lillies_evolvedrecipes.txt (PastaTin, RiceTin, SoupTin, SoupTin2, StewTin, MessTinStirfry, MessTinOmelette, HotDrink); each has a ResultItem:.

I also see “EvolvedRecipe = …” inside item defs (e.g., .../items/lillies_items_food_evolved_recipe_items.txt under MessTinOmeletteRecipe). I believe that’s the item-property form, so it wouldn’t have Result/ResultItem.

A script I used flagged “missing Result/ResultItem,” but I suspect it misread the item-property line as a standalone block - likely a false positive.

I'm getting a slew of errors with 42.12, so the update definitely broke something. Looking forward to the update when you have the time!

Nepenthe: 42.12 changed the way BodyLocationGroup.getOrCreateLocation() works so instead of just using a string (making it easy to add a new value) it new relies on a enum that is locked away in java.

I think Spongie's open jackets doesn't quite work with the other module(where it includes not only retextured clothing but also all new items and mechanics), specifically some of the military jackets, they don't have options to be rolled and opened

And just as a note for Lillie, it would be nice to see both Nomex flight gloves and the D-3A gloves added to this mod. I mean, there's tons of other, better things to add lol, but still. It would be a nice replacement for the current gloves, or just an addition.

Honestly, as much as I hate to say it, I don't recommend using this at all with RAZ. Pretty much every aspect of the RAZ mod is generally lower quality, less immersive, and less descriptive than Lillie's mod. My experience combining the two resulted in the objectively better, more historically accurate Lillie's items being replaced by generic named RAZ items that seem a lot more like "vanilla plus" style of items than actually historically accurate items with detailed models. The only thing I really did like from RAZ were the Nomex flight gloves, which for some reason become the standard glove for literally every soldier/marine in knox county. They were certainly popular, but I prefer the variety of Lillie's gloves a bit more. Anyways, using them both together resulted in a much less immersive experience while looting military zombies, although military container loot tables didn't seem to be THAT effective.
