The unremarkable Koopa Paratroopa returns, now more remarkable than ever! In this "definitive edition", Troops received a massive overhaul from his original 2019 version. Sporting a cool cap and new sprites, he also has new tricks up his shell, including a fully redone special moveset.

As usual, he remains a lightweight fighter due to always being off the ground. His wings grant him three midair jumps, but his movement stats are nothing to write home about. Many of his ground attacks are able to be used out of ledge, and you may even be able to hop off one to perform a forward or up strong in midair.

Troops' old neutral special, Hammer, has been moved to his up special. Although this means he no longer has a traditional "go up" up special, It gives him a little vertical boost in the air and the throwing angle is higher, on top of his old ability to angle the trajectory returning. It can now be interacted with by his other specials.

His new neutral special is now Spiny Seeker, where he becomes the dreaded Spiny Shell and spins around seeking for targets, homing on the nearest opponent. If a hammer from his NSpecial is out, he will instead home toward that regardless of whether an enemy is close. Homing toward a hammer is also a little more precise than toward an opponent. This can, and should be used as recovery, although its unconventionalness may take some getting used to.

His old forward special, Shell Dash, was moved to his down special. It's mostly the same, except that now it hits opponents multiple times as opposed to once and bouncing away. The charge time is also much lower. It can still be cancelled into Jab and tilts in the air like before.

In turn, his new FSpecial is now Shell Rush, where Troops moves forward in the air in a drilling motion. Hitting enemies will make him bounce up and knock them up as well for some nice damage, but missing it will put him in pratfall, so caution must be taken when used offstage. His trajectory can be slightly angled up and down. If you're close to the ground, try angling it down to land sooner and not go through pratfall and landing lag.

you can use neutral B to home toward it and hit it with side and down B's to launch it forward. it's all in the description
