Improved Vanilla Combine + Dynamic Glow

Beskrivning
This add-on is a comprehensive re-texture pack for vanilla Combine NPCs in Half-Life 2 with fixes, additions including merging some features from: pre-release, new and old Source engine, and Half-Life 2: Survivor.

Required items AREN'T necessary, as they are alternative options that must be installed along with this.

For the sub-mod from required items to work, it's NECESSARY to prioritize it above main mod!

ONLY compatible with models using original materials, and NOT compatible with other unadapted re-textures!






General Changes:

  • Gadgets' glowing parts: fixed, restored, and added new + dynamic (active only on live NPCs like in HL:A)
  • Materials reflectivity: environment and light (not beta-ish specular maps)
  • DXT-decompressed

Metro-Police:
Added edited GMod-ish bump map and phong
Added concept-ish glowing eyepieces
Edited armband and vest symbol in HL:A style
Fixed crooked glove texture
Restored missing boot soles from HL2 Beta
Some texture areas are darkened and lightened

Combine Shotgunner:
Fixed texture low contrast
Standardized uniform parts

Prison Guard:
Recolored shotgunner's emblems to red
Standardized helmet parts
Standardized material shader

Zombine:
Replaced pre-release texture with retail-like texture

The shading on the metrocop's eyes looks really odd, It’s very noticeable up close.

From this mod, you can copy-paste all lines related to "envmap" from .vmt (opens with notepad) files, as well as the alpha channel(s) that need to be applied to your base texture(s) - that's all, if simplified.
