[WOTC] Iridar's Sectoid Blaster

Somehow nobody made this mod yet, so I did. Adds Sectoids' arm blaster that can be used by XCOM soldiers.

• Counts as a pistol and will work with all pistol perks. Has an animation for Fan Fire.
  
• Can be crafted one a time in Proving Grounds.
  
• Requires Plasma Rifle tech, costs some resources and a Sectoid Corpse.
  
• Deals 4-6 +2 damage - slightly more than the basic beam pistol.
  
• Gives one use of Sectoid Blaster ability that can damage multiple units in a line, similarly to the Plasma Blaster heavy weapon.

As far as the game is concerned, the Sectoid Blaster is a pistol, so the vanilla Photobooth poses will look goofy with it. I made new poses, but wasn't able to replace the vanilla poses with them.

Can be added mid-campaign.


Generally should be compatible with anything, including Dedicated Pistol Slot and True Utility Slos Sidearms.

Primary Secondaries mods will treat the Sectoid Blaster as a pistol too, and obviously it will look pretty silly with primary pistol animations. Not really something I care to fix.
