Kitimek

Kitimek, a cat-like shadow creature, comes to Rivals of Aether, using its great shape-shifting powers to its advantage! Made for the Horror Jam, plenty of attacks come with a spooky bit of coating, thanks to the afformentioned morphing. Sporting a fast, rushdown gameplay, steal stocks with this Mimicking Gemstone!

Neutral Special: Snag!
A quick, manic swipe forward. If it hits a projectile or article, its stolen, just like a Pocket. It normally just hits opponents. However, if you hit someone in a certain states, such as Kitimeks's very own Crystalized state, Kitimek will pocket that opponent, just like a projectile!

Side Special: Pounce!
A quick pounce forward, though aimable. A reliable recovery tool if you want to safely go a short distance. On hit, you can cancel it with an attack, jump, or airdodge.

Up Special: Gem Launch!
Grabs the gem on its chest and throws it up, while aimable. After its thrown, you now take control of the gem as it soars, leaving the original body behind. After landing, or cancelling it after you've hit a surface or after you've fallen lower than you started, the body will poof away and reform where you are! Be careful, as you are much weaker to attacks if hit in the gem state!

Down Special: Gem Flash!
The gem produces a bright flash forward, encasing anyone caught in it inside a crystal! This essentially acts like a frozen state, being able to hit around the crystallized opponent safely until they break free.
