The AMX-10RC is a French armored fighting vehicle, often mistakenly classified as a tank, which it is not. It was created by Satory Military Vehicles, a joint venture between GIAT and Renault, on order from the French Armed Forces and was intended to serve as a reconnaissance vehicle, also capable of fighting enemy armored vehicles. The AMX-10RC was mass-produced from 1976 to 1994, with a total of 457 armored vehicles of this type produced. 337 of them entered service with the French Army, which used them in the Gulf War and a number of peacekeeping operations. Another 120 vehicles were exported to Morocco and Qatar.

The development of the VBCI infantry fighting vehicle began in the 1990s with the launch of the French Véhicule Blindé Modulaire program to create a modular wheeled armored vehicle to replace the aging AMX-10P IFVs. From 2003 to 2005, prototypes of the vehicle underwent various tests, and the first production batch of 200 vehicles entered service by June 23, 2010. Serial production continued until 2018, with a total of 630 IFVs produced, which are still in service with France today.

VAB HOT MEPHISTO is an anti-tank version of the French VAB armored personnel carrier with a HOT ATGM launcher. The history of the VAB HOT MEPHISTO began in the 1970s, when the French army began searching for a new self-propelled ATGM capable of replacing outdated vehicles armed with first-generation ATGMs like the SS.11. In 1979, the second-generation ATGM, HOT, was adopted for service in France, and in 1980, production of the VAB HOT MEPHISTO began. The vehicle entered service with the French army in 1982 and was used in combat in the Persian Gulf in 1991. Currently, the VAB HOT MEPHISTO is in service with France, Lebanon and Morocco.

The AMX-30 is a main battle tank designed by Ateliers de construction d'Issy-les-Moulineaux (AMX, then GIAT) and first delivered to the French Army in August 1966. The French believed that it would have required too much armour to protect against the latest anti-tank threats, thereby reducing the tank's maneuverability. Protection, instead, was provided by the speed and the compact dimensions of the vehicle, including a height of 2.28 metres. As early as 1969, the AMX-30 and variants were ordered by Greece, soon followed by Spain (AMX-30E). In the coming years, the AMX-30 would be exported to Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Cyprus and Chile. By the end of production, 3,571 units of AMX-30s and its variants had been manufactured.
