I took the drive to two repair shops, but they couldn't do anything. The second one just told me that it's best to send the drive to the company to recover the data. This actually costs €2,000 because the shop sent a 2TB drive, and that cost €700. I have a 4TB drive, so...

I stopped working on PMs entirely since I lost everything due to drive failure, and it's unrepairable. Plus, they don't look like zombies to me. Maybe it's just the neck wires.
