描述

The SCAR (short for Special Operations Forces Combat Assault Rifle) is a modular, compact, lightweight, select-fire rifle platform manufactured by FN Herstal. The FN SCAR-L (SCAR 16, Mk 16) is the variant which is chambered in 5.56×45mm NATO. The SCAR series of rifles were manufactured to satisfy the requirements for the SCAR competition held by the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). The FN SCAR-SC builds on the FN SCAR heritage with an extremely compact design that’s specifically adapted for mobility and flexibility and ideal for special response teams and SWAT.
