Season Changer

Do you wish there was an Endless Summer mutator so the game wouldn't snow on your desert and jungle maps? Do you wish the Endless Winter mutator actually worked? Then this is the mod for you!

To use: From the objects menu, build a Season Changer Mk. II anywhere. Click on the season you want. If you want to prevent the progression of seasons, turn on Endless Mode. You can only have one Season Changer Mk. II per prison.

Endless Mode can be turned off at any time, but if you turn it on again, the locked season will be whatever season you used last, not the current season. You can change the locked season by clicking on the season buttons.

Weather, temperature, and Perfect Storm DLC calamities are generally consistent with the selected season, but out-of-season effects may still occur occasionally. In Legacy weather, the weather should correct itself after a few in-game days. In Perfect Storm, you can force refresh weather and calamities by changing the weather intensity under Map Settings, and then changing it back. (Changing the weather intensity through the modding API doesn't refresh the weather, so I haven't included this function.)

If you experience perfomance issues with Endless Mode, turn it off. If you need to squeeze out every drop of performance, use the old Season Changer object. The buttons in the old Season Changer aren't labelled because they only change your save's "starting season" and don't automatically calculate how to give you the season you want.
