Highliner I

描述
Designed by the St. Louis Car Company, these electric bi-level train cars were first used by the Illinois Central in commuter service on their routes through Chicago's southside. Five years after the initial order of 131 cars entered service in 1971, another 36 cars were ordered from Bombardier when the RTA began funding the IC's commuter operations. Metra purchased the entirety of the Electric District in 1987, including the rolling stock.

These units are operated in married pairs, with a gallery car styled seating layout. While relatively slow to accelerate by modern standards they were a significant upgrade from the previous heavyweight cars. Eventually the Highliner I's were due to be replaced themselves and were phased out beginning in 2005, with the last car revenue run in early 2016. Twenty-four cars were sent to museums around the country, with the remaining scrapped.

Includes Metra and Illinois Central liveries. Maximum 4 married pairs in one train.

hi, after the update one version is a simple white line, i guess it's a default substitute texture, i put a picture on the official nimby discord server

Hi, would you consider updating the power value to the real value of either 440 or 480 kW per car? The acceleration is already reduced making the train slower than a Highliner II, so this shouldn't hurt it too bad.
