You are mistaken, it does not conflict as a head with a head, it conflicts because it is not just a mod that replaces just a head, it comes with default clothes, the reason is that this is not an overlay of the head, but as a separate mod Hatless ELLis conflict catches clothes, look at Meraru's work, it goes as an overlay on the hair

i dont think any mods really do that and it didn’t happen to me so i assume not lol

it’ll say they conflict with each other cause this mod has the same textures as Hatless Ellis, it’s meant to override it via mod load priority/order
