描述
This mod adds ability for Balthasar Gelt to send caravans from Cathay

The game doesn't allow to change caravan network after campaign start so don't use this mod if you want to play as Gelt and use the Empire caravan network

Requires a new game. If you will try to load older save with "Caravans of the Old World" mod the game will crash

AI Gelt will also send caravans from Cathay so you will be able to meet his caravans and start diplomacy with him as other Empire faction

Note that you cannot recruit a caravan if you don't have any settlements

Works for both IE and IEE campaigns

Could we get gold wizard lords or engineer lords to lead Golden Order Caravans? feels appropriate considering how delicate Gelts position is

hi, just wondering why there are only 2 variation of caravan lord? One is with war wagon, and another one is with fanatic

@Polskers : mostly units and routes. But cathay also has one unique encounter

What is the difference between the Cathayan caravans and the Empire caravans? Is it just units or are there more differences?

So this is for if the player takes the option to stay in Cathay? Understandable. And I suppose it should be used in campaigns where one isn't playing as Gelt?
