The Royal Lion Regiment of Altdorf

I started making some units in this a while ago and thought they were fun to use, so I just kept going until I had a whole regiment.

This mod adds a number of units and legendary characters to the empire faction, all modeled off of the high elf white lions (they are my favorite high elf unit and I wanted something with a similar theme for the empire.)

Characters included:

Romulus the Pride Father of Altdorf: A powerful melee lord with mounts including an armored war lion and my new unit/mount, the winged lion.

Diana the Den Mother of Altdorf: A powerful (human) archmage with high magic and significant WoM reserves, includes a lioness mount.

Lucia the Lioness: a (human) high mage hero, set with similar lioness mount.

Vesta the Lioness: a variant of Lucia, pretty much the same.

Titus and Silus the Lion Blooded - Champion heroes with the ability to transform into powerful werelion forms.

Karl Franz lion and winged lion mounts also added.


Units included:

Lion Guard: High tier halberd infantry, very strong

Lion Guard Blademasters: hybrid unit with a bow and dual swords (also very strong)

The Lion Tamers: elite monstrous cavalry units with an armored lion mount (very strong, see a pattern here?)

The Winged Lions: my own mount creation, this is a unit of the elite lion guards atop their winged lions


I will continue to add new units and heroes to this as I find the time. Mod is certainly not complete but I thought this would be a good time to post and get some feedback before I continue working on it. Open to suggestions!

Additionally, I did put caps on all of the units. First off, they are insanely powerful so I didn't want them to sweep the whole campaign map. Second, having a limit feels more like a unique elite regiment and each lord can still have a full stack.

Finally, I am not a game developer nor am I a very experienced modder. Let me know if there are errors!
