Be you fighting for the Republic or People's Republic, help to repel the fascist invaders and wipe away national humiliation.

If any Mandarin speakers would like to add their voices or give critique, I'm down and hit me up.

UPDATE: This mod, due to the Shanghai-Nanking DLC as well as some much superior Chinese Faction mods made by Chinese users (such as Alan_rock), is now obsolete and is no longer maintained.

Sadly I left this mod behind a hot minute ago sadly, so no. Buuuuut, Alan_rock just dropped a CCP Faction Mod (among other Chinese factions) plus the new China DLC, so this mod is officially obsolete.

the ccp and the kmt are talking in english is there anyway to fix this?

I’m sorry I haven’t actually touched this mod in a hot minute and thusly have no files for this left on my computer. I would suggest maybe on your end try verifying your game files, then download and redownload it. I’ll have to see if it does that on my end in the morning as it’s 1:30 AM where I am.

Hey there! I’ve been playing Easy Red 2 on my Mac and downloaded a bunch of mods from the Workshop, including this Chinese Factions (KMT and CCP). It seems like a lot of other mods related to Chinese rely on your mod as a dependency for their maps or missions.

That’s all cool, but I ran into an issue. Usually, when I select a campaign, the green “Start” button shows up so I can play, but on my Mac, that section just disappears—nothing’s there at all. After testing things out, it looks like your mod might be causing the problem.

Any chance you could take a look and fix this bug? Would really appreciate it!

If we can ever get fully voiced Mandarin voices, we might finally be able to get some Korean War maps and missions. The Battle of Chosin Reservoir in particular/
