Hope your mod is still fairly balanced tho, i know its easy to become to focused on the lore and end up making things too power.
Learning how to do it by yourself is surely the best way in my opinion and Asset Editor isn't that hard to learn so it isn't a very hard process of learning as it is for bd modding. You can Discord me, if you produce a cool model and want to publish it i can pack the dbs part for you. Or teach you how to do that ww :3
if you already have the model just have to change the filenames to reflect what's in the DBS
make sure to ask permissions if you are going to use someone else's model tho
