The Armoured Direwolf Patch

When he found her, she was a runt - no different from any other bonedog puppy, except for her snowy white pelt. As she grew up, it became very clear that she was no ordinary bonedog.

The Armoured Direwolf is a great mod that adds a kickass plated armor for doggies, a companion with her big dog, five new weapons and a craftable backpack and armor for your canine friends!

… However the last part doesn’t work as intended. Kenshi doesn’t really like the idea of animals wearing armors, so they get killed instantly when wearing them. Atlas said that it’s because the damage calculations are different for animals. It has the possibility of every bit of damage rolling negative or positive, overflowing the damage calculation and instantly killing something. Not the best outcome.

So, this patch removes both the Direwolf and Dog Armour and replace them with a backpack named ‘Canine Armored Plates’. It looks exactly like the armored version and has the same stats as the version currently available at Genesis.

TL;DR: Bonedog Armour is now a backpack that looks like an armor.
