Sure, they aren't as high-definition as the official GFL2 models, but many of the customs cover GFL1 designs which aren't seen in 3D much anymore, let alone playable in most cases, since people started ripping GFL2's. The GFL1 models still hold up well and don't look overly out of place alongside GFL2 models either. It's likely done for optimization I imagine, though their inclusion is always nice to see.
(On a side note, I also miss being able to use some of the older models in campaign like G-36C, Super SASS, and Negyev. Though Vector is a nice addition.)
Regardless, that's just my two cents. This is an amazing mod and I love to see that it still gets updates. Keep on keeping on!
