This mod is required by TwitchToolkit and other addons for ToolkitCore. It will connect to Twitch Chat and allow integration between the game and your viewers.

Generating twitch tokens: https://twitchtokengenerator.com/
Simply click on the option "Bot Chat Token" and copy the portion that says "access token"
(you may need to add oauth: in front of it e.g. oauth:14rxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx)


Modder Description

Library containing modified version of the TwitchLib.Client branch. Creates a separate thread and provides an interface for modders to asynchrously communicate with twitch chat websockets.

JUST SPENT 3.5 DAYS TRYING TO GET THIS WORKING IS CURRENTLY BROKEN - Current State: Twitch Toolkit on RimWorld 1.6
Chat parsing fails even with a valid OAuth token
ToolkitCore settings may not appear in Mod Settings, even when installed correctly

InstallSteps.xml throws Def errors, confirming broken internal references

Ticker launches, but no viewer commands are processed

No response to !points, !colonist, or any chat triggers

🧠 What’s Likely Happening
The mod hasn’t been updated for RimWorld 1.6’s new mod architecture

ToolkitCore may be deprecated or mispackaged, causing missing UI and broken Defs

ToolkitUtils loads, but without Core functioning, it’s inert

The mod author hasn’t pushed a fix or patch for 1.6 compatibility

Twitchapps TMI is discontinued, (which is where the "New OAuth Token" button takes you), is there a recommended alternative? Otherwise, this mod is unusable. Thanks!

Seconding the comment that I can't access anything when pressing "New OAuth Token." Same message.

Not sure where to report this, but for some reason clicking New OAuth token just takes me to a page that says "this site can't provide a secure connection", says it "sent in invalid response". Not sure if something is wrong on my end or what, but I can't get an OAuth token to connect the bot to twitch, ergo, I can't play the mod.
